Celebrating standout leaders in the global spa industry, the World Spa Awards has honoured chic destination spa and lifestyle brand Spring Spa in Bali’s Seminyak Village with the impressive title of Asia’s Best Day Spa 2018 for a third year running.
The awards were announced at a gala ceremony in the Maldives following a record number of votes cast by leading spa and wellness tourism professionals, as well as hundreds of thousands of spa consumers from across the globe to determine the winners.
Spring Spa, the brainchild of Bali-based founder and CEO Ina Bajaj, is an innovative spa brand designed with the modern spa-lover in mind. Popular with global travellers escaping to Bali, Spring brings together an effortless fusion of beauty, design and lifestyle in three vibrant island locations: a stunning rooftop terrace in Seminyak Village, opposite the W Hotel in Seminyak, and in the bohemian hideaway of Canggu’s Batu Balong.

Part of Spring’s success lies in its ability to create a unique experience outside of traditional spa formalities. Spring’s spas in Bali feature stylish architecturally-designed interiors, health bars, DJ booths playing island tunes as well as blow dry bars alongside an expansive menu that includes everything from quick beauty touch-ups to mind and body rejuvenation packages.
The World Spa Awards is a dynamic awards programme that was first launched in 2015. It aims to drive up standards within the spa industry by recognising and rewarding the organisations that are the leaders in the field. Established as a response to the overwhelming demand from the spa industry for a transparent and fair programme, the awards now serve as the definitive benchmark of excellence in the spa industry.
Together with the Bali spas, Spring Spa also has four locations in New Zealand, with plans to expand the brand further around Asia in 2019.
