Fresh new murals painted by local artists form part of the new look at Havaianas Sunset Road store, launched on October 28 (National Youth Pledge Day) and inspired by the brand’s theme of ‘Let’s Summer’.

The launch ceremony included live mural painting, created in collaboration with five Bali-based mural artists: SwoofOne, PanSaka, The Uncle Joy, Vonzealous and Zolalongor. The opening also featured a sandal exhibition and a photo contest that conveys much of Havaianas’ spirit.

“Energized by the spirit of Hari Sumpah Pemuda (National Youth Pledge Day) every 28 October, Havaianas collaborates with five mural artists to celebrate and express the youthful Indonesian spirit,” explained Vivin Andriani, Brand Manager Havaianas Bali.

“The good vibes with the vibrant, colourful and spontaneous way that always inspires Havaianas is now presented through the new Summer Walls that will bring the theme of ‘Let’s Summer’ to life and give a complete Havaianas experience when shopping at our flagship store,” she said.

The mural paintings show the joy and colors associated to the brand with a combination of each artist’s unique style, and is also a token of appreciation from Havaianas to local artists who have been involved with Havaianas collections throughout the world.

“We have done many collaborations with artists all over the world. Just wait and see, we might also have a collaboration with Indonesian artists in the future,” suggested Vivin.
