Having successfully launched Sumatra as the first region of the Unity in Diversity brand campaign, The Apurva Kempinski Bali is now ready to announce and celebrate Nusa Tenggara as the new region of the campaign. Nusa Tenggara, also known as the lesser Sunda islands, is located in the region of Eastern Indonesia and is blessed with stunning backdrops. From jungles to savannah, volcanic lakes, pink-sand beaches, colourful underwater life and the Komodo dragon endemic to the region, Nusa Tenggara is a worId full of wonders, inviting travellers to set out on an adventure.
Each of the resort’s eclectic dining venues invites guests to explore the traditional dishes of Nusa Tenggara. Selasar Deli presents various traditional delicacies such as Lupis Daun Suji, Lak-lak, Kue Abuk, and Kue Bantal, along with premium Lombok coffee in collaboration with Tanamera Coffee.
Inspired by the flavours of East Nusa Tenggara, Reef Beach Club offers a family style menu that includes Ayam Bakar Taliwang and Sate Tuna-Manggarai, to a special Reef Archipelago with traditional marinades and sambals. East Nusa Tenggara’s specialty dishes – Crab Beberuk Terong and Lawar Ikan Rote Ndao – are served at Koral Restaurant as the highlight in the month of April and May.
Pala Restaurant and Rooftop Bar showcase various snacks from East Nusa Tenggara, with specialties served during the daily buffet breakfast and the popular Brunchcation every Sunday. To introduce guests to the traditional taste of East Nusa Tenggara, Bai Yun has prepared the infamous East Nusa Tenggara food, Ikan Kuah Belimbing as a special soup base for your hot pot.
At the Apurva Spa, guests are welcomed with a traditional Lombok drink, Serbat Jahe and Moringa Tea. Treatments are centred around Cendana (Frangipani), a flower that eases guests into relaxation, along with Sandalwood and other floral essences. To fully immerse the young VIPs, activities have been prepared at the Jalak Family Club, such as story-telling for the little ones and weaving bracelets that will fully engage them. Another highlight showcasing Nusa Tenggara is the craftsmanship exhibition by Asha Smara Darra and “Through The Lens of Dr. Lawrence Blair”, a series of documentary videos that will offer viewers a deeper understanding of Nusa Tenggara from the Doctor’s anthropological perspective.
