Belmond Jimbaran Puri, Bali launches new contemporary tasting menus created by executive chef, Adi Wijaya. Introducing a rejuvenated dining offering, travellers can experience his skilful contemporary cooking which highlights flavours of the island.
Nelayan Restaurant, located on the white sands of the sheltered Jimbaran bay, launches the Chef’s Dégustation Experience, a menu of blended French, Mediterranean and Asian flavours. Starting with a coconut and turmeric-crusted tuna salad, guests are then served a delicate cognac and lobster bisque with lobster mousse tortellini and a lemongrass foam. The ‘Land and Sea’ main course comprises premium Australian Black Angus beef tenderloin and tiger prawns freshly-caught from Jimbaran Bay, with truffle mousseline potatoes and béarnaise sauce. To end the dinner, guests can savour flavours of Indonesia in a young coconut panna cotta with refreshing raspberry ginger sorbet and passion fruit pulp, followed by coffee or tea and petit fours.
