#eatsipfeast at Canggu’s Cantina Classe – Veritable Italian Tastes and Flavours

The midday to midnight crew now have somewhere fabulous to go, with an accent on all things Italian, and undoubtedly, Cantina Classe stands out as the best Italian restaurant in Bali.

Handmade pizzas vs. home made pastas are both vying for your attention on the CC menu. Signatures include the Four Cheese, made with Bechamel sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola, goat’s cheese, and fresh parsley, the Prosciutto Pizza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto cutton, arugula, gorgonzola cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. For the pasta, imagine Fettuccine Truffle Carbonara, served with handmade fresh fettuccine pasta, beef bifuteki, carbonara sauce, with truffle-flavoured mushrooms as a topping, or the Penne pesto with roasted herb chicken-leg. Delicioso!

Cantina Classe is as good behind the bar as it is in the kitchen – The Liquid Pizza, a unique concoction made with vodka, tomato juice, lime juice, foamee, salt n pepper, and basil syrup, is a must-try. Another signature cocktail worth mentioning is the Nusantara Tiramisu, made with dark rum, cold brew, mascarpone cheese, and espresso.

The building housing Cantina Classe, with its impressive old-school mix of architecture and ambiance, modern and rustic décor is defintely an incredible setting and a fabulous backdrop to some great dining moments…and some great IG memories too.
