Nengajo
A Japanese tradition of sending a New Year’s card symbolizing thoughtfulness. Designed as a postcard, guests are guided to write their wishes for the incoming year in Japanese characters.

Kirigami & Origami
Kirigami or Japanese paper-cutting means the art of “cut picture”. Create beautiful designs by cutting sections out of a single sheet of paper. Enhance the handicraft with the art of folding paper or origami to make a memorable Japanese-inspired memento.

Fukuwarai
Fukuwarai, meaning ‘joyful laugh’, is a simple game that makes you laugh on the first day of the New Year. Put on a blindfold and attempt to place facial features in the correct positions on a blank face…

Festive Dinner Menu
Excite your palate with a variety of delectable Japanese festive menus including Yosenabe, Sushi, Sashimi and Jewel Box. Served from high quality and the freshest of ingredients, the menu is carefully crafted to present a meaningful togetherness to welcome the New Year. Set course menu is available.

Amazake
A Japanese traditional healthy drink, using rice and koji or rice malt. Guests can sip a warm cup of Amazake in the morning to start the day and warm the body. To explore the taste of amazake, in the afternoon guests are also welcome to enjoy more varieties of Amazake at the Sake Bar.

Toshikoshi Soba
Enjoy New Year’s Eve tasting this authentic Japanese dish. Traditionally, families gather together and eat Toshikoshi soba, a symbol of longevity, on New Year’s Eve to wish for good health in the coming year.

Ozoni
A traditional soup with mochi and vegetables enjoyed on New Year’s Day, featuring Mitsuba, or three-leaved Japanese parsley, tied in a knot, which means forming a good relationship with someone or good luck.

Iwai-zake
On New Year’s Day, many Japanese people drink acelebratory sake called Iwai Zake. Guests are welcome to enjoy Iwai Zake for 3 days in a row from the 1st day of New Year.
