Their delightful savoury selections include Gochujang and Cheddar Cheese Pinwheel – delicious, with every swirl filled with cheddar cheese and an infusion of Korean flavour with the gochujang; Smoked Corn, Beef Bacon and Parmesan Tart – a delightful crisp pastry base, balancing the freshness and smoky taste of the corn, the mouth-watering beef bacon and the richness of Parmesan; Coronation Chicken Sandwich – created in honour of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, this sandwich is full of tender chicken in a creamy curry, with crunchy almonds and mango chutney.
For the sweet selection imagine the Hazelnut Praline Choux Craquelin – the ultimate decadence with a crisp exterior contrasting the rich filling accompanied by an unbeatable hazelnut taste; Passion Fruit and Mango Italian Meringue Pie – a light and crisp tart filled with deliciously exotic cream, topped with lighter-than-air meringue; Peanut Butter and Chocolate Gateau – this super moist chocolate, peanut butter cake combines rich chocolate cake with a creamy peanut butter frosting and smooth chocolate ganache.
This afternoon tea culture would not be perfect without scones, so Buttermilk Fruit Scones and Buttermilk Scones are accompanied by a heavenly, homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream.
