This last quarter of the year, the House of Celebration in Bali, The St. Regis Bali Resort elevates their tradition of St. Regis Afternoon Tea, (which was introduced in the Gilded Age by the mother of St. Regis’ founding father, Mrs. Astor), with an exciting collaboration with Pithecanthropus, a local high-end fashion brand in Bali.

Over 30 years ago, Pithecanthropus began its journey to celebrate and preserve the rich tapestry of Indonesian culture through the lens of everyday art. What began as a small gift shop has since evolved into a cultural haven, curating traditional art from diverse ethnic groups across the Indonesian archipelago. Together, they present an enchanting Afternoon Tea experience that merges the timeless tradition of St. Regis with the artistic craftsmanship of Pithecanthropus.

Curated by Pastry Chef Vincent Stopin, the Afternoon Tea features a captivating array of homemade sweet and savoury delicacies, showcasing the delicate Batik pattern from Pithecanthropus. Batik is a traditional Indonesian art form characterized by intricate patterns and vibrant colors, and it holds a special place in Indonesia’s cultural heritage. Through this collaboration, guests will have the opportunity to savor the flavours of Indonesia while immersing in the artistic creation of Pithecanthropus.

Available from 14 September 2023 to 30 November 2023, indulge in the cultural fusion and culinary artistry for IDR 400,000 net per person. Children aged 3 to 12 can also partake in this delightful experience for just IDR 175,000 net per child.
