Pandawas Villas Ubud – Tegallalang

Pandawa

We are all exploring; searching for health, for spirituality, for peace of mind, even possibly, our next career jump. It’s today’s passion, today’s necessity. And along with all this esoteric seeking comes an important actual physical question: Where can we host, or share, these necessary body, brain and soul “update, upload and install” courses or meetings?

Pandawa

Three of us made one such choice recently, in search of an ideal, private spot for a digital platform discussion. What is usually referred to as “brainstorming” should surely change to “Idea Alignment” don’t you think? It has a more positive vibration.

Pandawa

So in answer to this physical question, Pandawas Villas & Hotel Ubud was where our pin hit the Bali map, located just to one side of the handicraft mecca known as Tegallalang, on a quiet and steep Bali country lane. (Side note: Tegallalang – shopping along this 4km plus stretch is highly enjoyable – a shopaholics dream.)

As a “home away from home” Pandawas Villas Ubud has an ideal mix of luxury villa rooms, as well as co-working cozy rooms with en-suite bathrooms. These two choices thankfuly attune to everyone’s budget.

The luxury, Yudisthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Sahdewa and Nakula (brothers and heroes of the epic Hindu poem Mahabhratha) and Honeymoon villas are all set on three thousand square metres of landscaped gardens, around a free-form lava and limestone rock swimming pool. And the budget? The Banyan – co-living and co-working space is made up of a two-story building, set to the back of the property, flanked by a swimming pool and hosting a Yogashala, overlooking lush rice paddy fields, semi jungle and two Banyan trees. Choose from the Junior Pool room, Deluxe Terrace room or Family Rooms (sets of two or three adjoining rooms).

The Main Hall hosts the Bar, the dining area and the open-plan sitting area, reminiscent of a Balinese Wantilan or village gathering hall. Book either one or all of the six signature, luxury villa rooms and enjoy the resort between just the few of you, or book a larger group into The Banyan, for co-living and co-working spaces with communal kitchen and living spaces. Either way you can enjoy the use of the gardens for meditation, walks of atonement, even sound healing. Add to these the excellent Spa and your energy levels are moving in the right direction. And with a wide gastronomic selection of food, your Pandawas’ experience really can be Eat, Pray, Love.
