In a celebration that beckoned 400 distinguished guests from Bali society and the hospitality industry, Queen’s Tandoor – Cuisine & Lounge introduced its latest offering, Q-LOUNGE, during a grand inauguration held on November 24th 2023.
Located in the true heart of Seminyak, Bali, and marking almost two decades of culinary eminence, Queen’s Tandoor stands as a refined dining oasis on Jl. Raya Seminyak. Its two-story architecture now houses a new intimate space for 80 discerning patrons. The new bar area now boasts a luminous white onyx counter with a majestic Indian copper tandoor commanding attention.
The innovative dining experience presents an expansive array of contemporary Indian cuisine, seamlessly blending avant-garde culinary techniques with impressive presentations, all the while staying true to the authentic flavours of traditional Indian cuisine. The Titbits menu entices with an assortment of bite-sized delights, drawing inspiration from the bustling streets of India.
The revamped cocktail selection unveils a creative selection of libations, elegantly served through distinctive copper taps. Each concoction is meticulously crafted with in-house ingredients, lending a unique essence to the experience. For instance, the Mayarani is a rich amalgamation of spiced rum, apple, and cinnamon. Meanwhile, the Naked Mary reimagines the beloved Bloody Mary, infusing vodka sous-vide with aromatic kaffir lime leaves, chili, tomato, lemon, and a dash of salt. Lastly, the Rest in Peach cocktail presents a refreshing blend of gin, peach, fragrant pandan, and coconut water, meticulously fermented at low temperatures. Each sip promises a sensory expedition of the palate.
The Queen’s Tandoor – Cuisine & Lounge bar team, led by Head Bar Manager Aris Septiawan, entertained guests with bar flair, fiery displays, with a wandering band distributing complimentary shots from beverage backpacks to all the guests.
From 10pm onwards, the atmosphere came alive musical beats echoing through the room, inviting guests to dance upon the dance floor. The night unfolded with continuous entertainment, featuring acclaimed local and international DJs helmed by Dj Rishel Arora, captivating the audience with electrifying performances.
The dynamic ensemble at Queen’s Tandoor and Q-Lounge boasts a talented line-up: F&B Manager Brendon Venter, hailing from South Africa, leads the team. Assisting him, the charismatic Bar Manager Aris Septiawan infuses the lounge with exotic charm rooted in Bali. The culinary maestro behind the delectable creations is Head Chef Chilkit Pareek, renowned for infusing Rajahstan cuisine’s rich tapestry of flavours into every dish. And orchestrating the perfect ambiance with curated musical selections is Music Director Rishel Arora, having uprooted from India to come to Bali. Together, this diverse ensemble crafts an unforgettable experience, harmonizing cultures and culinary prowess to create a symphony of taste and ambiance.
From December the 16th onwards, Queen’s Tandoor will be welcoming guests daily from 5pm to 2am. Last orders for main course dishes are at 10:30pm, while the smaller titbits menu remains available until 1am. Starting from January 2024, Queen’s Tandoor will then extend its hours to serve lunch from 12pm onwards.
Queen’s Tandoor – Cuisine & Lounge also caters to special occasions, offering the Q-Lounge bar area ideal for pre-dinner cocktails, club nights, gatherings, and events. The weekly events calendar features musical genres ranging from organic house to upbeat party tunes, catering to a diverse audience. The club lounge program showcases daily live DJs, with special guest appearances on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10pm until late.
Welcoming in NYE & 2024: Marking the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve event is the GOA TRANCE NYE24 EXTRAVAGANZA WITH CULINARY BLISS, promising an unforgettable experience. The evening commences with an indulgent 6-course Progressive Indian Cuisine Set Menu – a tantalizing culinary odyssey.
