With flights and air travel becoming extortionate, we were very happy to know that the exotic flavours of traditional Thai food are now up for grabs in our hilly town of Ubud, namely at Sans Thai. Chef Agus Umbarayana has his favorites – the Pad Thai, the Garoupa steamed fish, and the Chicken green curry of course, with a must-dessert of Bua Loi and caramelized banana.
Sans Thai, set over-looking rice paddy fields, can give you something unheard of in Bangkok, a view of nature. So all of that flavoursome Thai food, using the freshest of ingredients can be enjoyed overlooking the freshest of sceneries!
Thai cuisine is actually quite hard to find in Ubud, and Ini Vie Hospitality spotted the gap, and were missing that tangy, spicy and sour set of flavours within their stable of properties, so choosing the best location, Ubud, the best view in Banjar Pinjul, their promise to each guest is that the view is now as good as the food. Something that maybe more challenging to find in downtown Bangkok!
