Dugong at Sustainable Suarga


Dugong, Suarga’s restaurant overlooking the waves of world famous Padang Padang break, promises a unique culinary experience in an authentic architectural setting.

The sustainable concept of the resort shines through the inventive and creative menu. All the ingredients are sourced in the local surroundings and the menu combines traditional Indonesian and South East Asian cuisine with techniques from Europe’s finest tables.

Our Chef introduces new offerings to the menu which exemplify this unique concept. “Grilled Mahi Mahi” floats on creamy toasted rice with ginger-infused leek and Shitake mushrooms; a dish inspired by the traditional Indonesian staple foods Bumbu Ayam and Bumbu Kuning. ?“Seafood in Spicy Coconut Soup” is a reinvention of  the common Laksa and vegetarian guests are being spoilt with among others our signature dish “Broccoli Edamame”, which has definitely raised the bar for vegetarian cuisine in Bali.
