Opening in 2008, Chandi is well known as a semi fine-dining restaurant where gastronomy and Pan-Asian cuisine are married in blissful harmony. Chandi always makes waves with their innovative dishes, creative ‘plating’ and the introduction of enticing flavours. A delightful harmony of flavour and visuals.


Merging the glamorous lifestyles of the Indonesian and New York elite, Chandi’s menu is always evolving. More importantly, sustainability lies at the heart of all that they do. All greens are grown organically, while fruits and roots are sourced from local Bedugul farmers.


If you’re a fan of seafood you’re in for an absolute treat. The main course of Caramelized Butterfish Miso Dashi – with daikon, radish, sweet corn, scallion, potato and salmon roe – is the one to order. The umami flavours are fresh and tasty, and served to perfection.


When it comes to meat, Chandi adds some drama and some serious sizzle, with a hot-stone Sate platter. These burning hot-plates come laden with meat skewers with additional rice on the side. Duck, beef and pork-belly all make a guest appearance and, needless to say, incorporate unexpected ingredients to keep you and your taste buds on their toes!
